Aural (Ear) Microsuction

Service Description

This procedure is undertaken to treat and diagnose problems with the ear, including wax impaction, otitis external and media infections and assess for pathology of the ear drum. This is done under magnified vision with a surgical microscope. Microsuction maybe noisy and can cause temporary tinnitus and discomfort. It is undertaken during your consultation and incurs an additional charge. Additional clinic / hospital fees apply to cover equipment and consumables (£47 at The Manor; £130 at The Beaconsfield Clinic).
