Insurance & Pricing
Mr Pal undertakes consultations at The Beaconsfield Clinic and The Manor Hospital, Nuffield Health Oxford. He is recognised by all the major medical insurance companies (BUPA, AXA PPP, Aviva, WPA, Vitality Healthcare, Cigna Benefits, Healix Healthcare and Simply Health) and has direct payment facilities with most of them. However, patients will need to contact their Insurance Company prior to their appointment to confirm their cover and to obtain a pre-authorisation number which will ease the reimbursement process.
All confidential patient and booking information, entering insurance details including authorisation codes, viewing invoices and your consultation letters and our privacy policy can be accessed via our secure and encrypted patient portal on our practice management site, accessed at https://ent-oxford-and-bucks.carebit.co/patients/accounts/sign-up.
Please bring the details of your insurance cover with you when you attend your appointment (membership and authorisation number as relevant.) With pre-authorisation we are usually able to communicate directly with the insurance company on your behalf. Without pre-authorisation, bringing proof of insurance cover may help in direct billing of your Insurance Company. In some circumstances payment on the day is required. Invoices for any excess on your policy will be forwarded to you.
For self funding patients we accept online payment, bank transfer, cash, cheque and all major credit and debit cards. An invoice and receipt will be provided to claim reimbursement from 3rd parties or Insurance Companies where appropriate.
The below services are provided on an outpatient basis. During your consultation it may be necessary to perform some tests/procedures to inform your diagnosis and/or treatment. Listed below are the most common outpatient procedures and their associated cost for self-funding patients. Most procedures also have an associated hospital fee, this fee is determined by the hospital / clinic and can vary depending on the private hospital your appointment is in; it relates to the cost of equipment and consumables. These have been outlined in the links below. For self-funding patients and depending on your level of cover, you may wish to enquire about this price directly from the private hospital in advance.
